MY GOLDEN LEAVES BED
Helen Roeten (2016)
Mixed media: ink, conté, acrylics, neckline, silver and gold markers.
50 by 65 cm on 200 grams paper.
Storyline: Autumn in the Netherlands. A cold wind is blowing, but the trees put on a magic coat. The leaves and spirals find their way in my paintings.
Women and nature. Both have seasons and all the seasons have their own charm.
In the autumn of my life, I feel gratitude. So many beautiful memories and dark ones too. But all together a rich beautiful pattern.
